Let the Sunlight In
It's essential to get lots of sunlight any time you're going to be stuck in the same place for a long time. Sunlight provides vitamin D, which is something that everyone needs. Sunlight also has the capacity to boost your mood if you ever start to feel down. If you have to work from home, you should work next to a window where you can get light and air.
Take Breaks to Talk to People
Working from home can make you feel lonely because you don't have anyone around you with whom you can interact. You can remedy that by taking short breaks and reaching out to people close to you. Even if you only talk for two to five minutes, it will make you feel less isolated.
It can be hard to discipline yourself when you work from home. Make sure that you stick to a strict routine and work the hours that you commit to working every day. Don't get too relaxed just because you're at home.
Get at least 15 to 20 minutes of exercise every day. You can do just about anything as long as it boosts your heart rate and works it. You can take a walk, ride a bike, or shoot some hoops. As long as it elevates your heart rate, you can reap the benefits.
